Deconditioning as Grief Work: An Earth School Approach to Embodying your Human Design by Honoring the Selves We Had to Be

Self·Foundation

Jess 5/2 Generator·Steph 2/4 Manifestor

Bio

Jess Ryan and Steph Hanson are the co-creators of Earth School, a practice space and community for navigating the lessons of being human on this earth plane using Human Design, nervous system regulation, embodiment, and energy work, to navigate the collective transition. Together, they bring decades of experience in therapy, yoga, somatic practice, spiritual inquiry, and group facilitation.

Jess Ryan is a licensed professional counselor, trauma therapist, Reiki Master, shamanic practitioner, TRE® provider, yoga educator, and PhD student in Public Humanities. Her work explores the body as archive, healing as public practice, and the role of nervous system capacity in personal and collective change. She integrates IFS, EMDR, somatic work, Human Design, energy medicine, and narrative practice.

Steph Hanson is a licensed professional counselor, certified IFS practitioner, yoga educator, somatic guide, spiritual facilitator, and artist whose work centers embodiment, becoming, and nervous system repair and restoration Self-sovereignty. Through Earth School, Jess and Steph create grounded, experiential spaces where people can explore Human Design as lived practice rather than information alone.

Their shared facilitation is trauma-informed, relational, practical, and reverent of the body's intelligence. They are especially interested in supporting practitioners and participants as they navigate deconditioning, grief, capacity, projection, and the selves we had to become in order to survive and belong.

About this offering

This experiential workshop explores the grief process inherent - but often invisible - in deconditioning. Human Design often helps people recognize what is not-self, conditioned, inherited, or survival-based. But recognizing a pattern is not the same as being ready to release it. Many conditioned selves formed for important reasons: to belong, stay safe, be loved, avoid rejection, carry family roles, or survive environments that could not fully welcome and honor our true selves. This offering also places personal deconditioning inside a larger collective transition. As Human Design points toward the movement from the Cross of Planning into the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix, many people are sensing the grief of leaving an old era, even when they know they are ready to leave it. The structures, agreements, communities, roles, and identities that once organized belonging may no longer hold in the same way. That shift can bring relief, but also disorientation, tenderness, and grief. In this workshop, participants will use Human Design as a compassionate map for exploring the identities, roles, strategies, and adaptations they have outgrown. Through gentle somatic practice, guided reflection, journaling, parts-informed inquiry, and optional partner or small-group sharing, participants will be invited to notice what they are ready to release, what still needs honoring, and what grief may arise when an old self no longer has to lead. The workshop will include grounding practices, nervous system pacing, reflection on Type, Strategy, Authority, Centers, and conditioning, releasing rituals, and integration practices for returning to the body. This is not a therapeutic processing group, but a trauma-informed experiential space for engaging the emotional terrain of deconditioning with care, consent, and embodied awareness.

Jupiter in Leo: Six Human Design Gates for Career Fulfillment

WisdomKeeper·Self·Foundation

1/3 Generator

Bio

Marla is a Human Design practitioner, astrologer, and coach who helps people get to know themselves more deeply and use what they discover to make more aligned choices about their work and the direction of their lives. She's especially drawn to supporting clients in the in-between spaces, where the urge for change is calling them beyond what they know, but uncertainty about what comes next is holding them back.

After nearly fourteen years as a lawyer in the corporate world, Marla became a Career Transitions Guide. She knows this territory intimately and supports people as they explore what truly fulfills them in their work and what they want to move toward next.

Marla brings together Human Design, astrology, NLP, and EFT to help clients understand themselves more fully and create work lives that feel true to who they are. She's an ICF-certified coach, a Certified Level 4 Quantum Human Design Specialist, a Certified Quantum Alignment System Practitioner, and a Certified Level III Human Design Guide through Erin Claire Jones. She's also a graduate of the Debra Silverman Astrology School, where she served as an intern and mentor, and is certified through the Rebecca Gordon Astrology School.

About this offering

Many accomplished professionals are excellent at what they do, yet they don't feel fully expressed in their work. As a former corporate lawyer, I know how it feels to be outwardly successful while feeling deeply unfulfilled. If you're in this place, it's perfectly normal not to know what to do next and to have more questions than answers. This 90-minute workshop will be part teaching, part reflection, and part space to become more closely attuned to what may be changing within you. We'll use Jupiter's transit through Leo, and the six Human Design gates that are associated with Leo season, as a framework for exploring career fulfillment through storytelling, leadership, direction, reflection, doubt, and aligned commitment. You'll leave with a deeper connection to the part of yourself that wants to play a bigger role in your work, along with one meaningful next step that you'll be excited to explore.

Human Design Writing workshop with Genoa Bliven

Self·Integration

3/5 Manifestor

Bio

Genoa Bliven has been living inside Human Design since the summer of 1995, when he met Ra Uru Hu and began working directly alongside him through the completion of his teaching in 2011. He has spent three decades since carrying that lineage forward as director of Human Design America and founder of The Human Design College, training analysts and guides who now teach around the world.

His own practice centers on the body's felt sense of its own knowing. Working from his 3/5 Manifestor profile with Splenic authority, Genoa developed a free associative writing practice that lets the voice of a person's own Authority speak directly onto the page, without the interference of the analyzing mind. He holds certifications across nearly every branch of the Human Design curriculum, from Rave Cartography to Incarnation Cross and Family Practice, and has trained the current generation of Human Design America's teaching team.

Genoa lives and teaches from Santa Fe, New Mexico.

About this offering

Explore the depths of your Human Design through the free-associative writing practices developed by Genoa Bliven. In a safe and supportive environment, we will hear the voice of your Human Design Authority. This session is open to every level of study, from those just meeting their chart to those who have lived with it for years. Please bring two printed copies of your chart, a notebook, and two pens.

Annie Richardson

Recognition: The Awareness Within the Experiment

Self·Foundation

5/1 Reflector

Bio

Annie Richardson is a counsellor, Somatic EMDR practitioner and Human Design mentor with a passion for helping people bridge the space between insight and lived experience. Drawing on years of clinical practice and her own Human Design experiment, she creates reflective, experiential spaces where people can recognise themselves with greater honesty and compassion.

Her work weaves together Human Design, somatic awareness and practical experimentation, inviting people to move beyond understanding their chart and into a deeper relationship with themselves. Living and practising in Australia as a Reflector, Annie has developed her own lived relationship with the experiment often at a distance from the wider international community, through her ongoing work as a counsellor and guide.

About this offering

When I first discovered Human Design, I wanted to understand my chart. Over time, I realised the real invitation wasn't simply to know myself more. It was to recognise myself more often.

Human Design offers us a map, but living our design happens in the middle of ordinary life. It unfolds through conversations, relationships, parenting, work, grief, joy, uncertainty and all the moments in between.

In this experiential workshop, we'll practise recognition and awareness together. Through reflection, facilitated conversation and gentle experiential exercises, we'll become curious about what it means to notice ourselves in real time, and how the awareness we bring to the experiment can deepen it. Together, we'll explore a practice of observation, discernment and recognition that participants can continue long after the workshop has ended.

This session is for those who already have a relationship with Human Design and have discovered that understanding their chart is only the beginning. Whether you are a practitioner supporting others or someone quietly living your own experiment, this workshop is an invitation to become curious about the space between knowing your design and recognising yourself in the midst of everyday life.

Nameh Marsin

Fear Detox: Access Wisdom Within

Self·Experimentation

3/5 Generator

Bio

Nameh Marsin — Whole-Self Coach At the heart of Nameh's work are embodiment tools, Human Design, and Parts work — anchored in the core belief that the fear, the resistance, the "who am I to live a bold life?" — that's not a stop sign. That tension is the doorway back to your own permission.

A 3/5 Emotional Generator on the Cross of Explanation with split definition, Nameh has been living and studying Human Design since 2021. With Gate 49 as her Personality Sun and her Kali Godhead signature, she lives and breathes personal revolution — and has been tracking her own across 50+ years.

Her chart tells a layered story: activations through 18/58, 34/57, and gates 49 + 50 drew her toward legal advocacy and nearly into a state's attorney career. Her 32/54 and Gate 46 kept pointing inward first — and her North Node 54.4 continues unfolding. Her undefined G center and 3rd line resilience turned what might have looked like a meandering path into her most generative teacher.

That undefined G center, paired with fear motivation, Mountains environment, and possibilities view, is what can support Nameh in holding a full spectrum of tools for her clients. Her attention lives in life's tensions — witnessing the pee-pee dance of self-discovery, and supporting every seeker in writing their own permission slips for a kind, loving self-presence as life delights them along the way. She is also the host of "Human Design and Why I Love It" (launching end of June), a podcast exploring HD through lived experience.

About this offering

90-Minute Workshop — Fear Detox Introduction This version of the Fear Detox workshop introduces participants to a framework for understanding and beginning to transmute fear — exploring fear's goals, how fear shows up, and what coping strategies and embodiment tools can bring loving care to the transmutation process. Drawing on Human Design, Parts Work (IFS), and embodiment tools, participants can practice noticing and naming fear's presence and begin exploring the internal parts that carry it. The session is structured around gentle curiosity and includes brief somatic practices for sitting with activated inner places rather than moving past them. 3-Hour Workshop — Fear Detox Full Immersion This version of the Fear Detox workshop covers the same material as the introduction above. The additional time allows for deeper container work — including the Window of Tolerance — extended practice with embodiment tools, and space to creatively art with their internal world. This workshop can be attended as a standalone or as a continuation following the 90-minute Fear Detox introduction. ____ A wise teacher once reminded me that a "hot potato" doesn't stay hot forever. And yet — so much of what we do with fear is just that: hot potato. Pass it, avoid it, cope it away. The work I'm lit up to engage with is about learning to hold it a little longer, and finding out what's actually inside.

From Struggle to Strength: The Path of Purpose, Experimentation and Self-Love

Self·Experimentation

3/5 Manifestor

Bio

Moniste Gauger is a former corporate professional turned transformational guide, dedicated to helping people reconnect with their authentic selves, trust their intuition, and honor their energetic design.

Her journey with Human Design began in 2020 and led her into full-time soul-aligned work, bringing her leadership experience and lived wisdom into the field.

About this offering

This workshop explores how the 3rd‑line and 6th‑line themes in Human Design show up in everyday life and in the gates. We look at how people naturally learn through experimentation and trial‑and‑error (3rd line), and how those with 6th‑line energy begin life in a similar experimental phase before moving into perspective and, later, integration. These developmental patterns are universal and relevant to everyone, whether or not they have 3rd or 6th lines in their chart. Participants will learn practical ways to recognize when they are in a learning phase that feels messy or experimental, when they are shifting into a more observational or reflective phase, and how to meet both with more self‑compassion. We will briefly reference the South Node and North Node as a general framework for growth, without going into technical detail. The focus is on understanding one's own process and reducing self‑judgment. The session includes short teaching segments, guided reflection, small‑group discussion, and a simple embodiment practice.

The EmbodieHD Landscape: Exploring Your Incarnation Cross Through Art, Story & Self-Discovery

Self·Experimentation

5/1 Emotional Manifestor

Bio

Jahjehan Ives is a certified Quantum Human Design guide, transformational coach, intuitive artist, and creator of the EmbodieHD Landscape, an illustrated Human Design card deck.

Through art, storytelling, and self-discovery, Jahje helps people reconnect with who they are and navigate life with greater clarity and alignment.

About this offering

What if your Human Design chart wasn't just something you read? What if it became something you could see, feel, explore, and create? In this hands-on workshop, you'll be introduced to the EmbodieHD Landscape Human Design Deck, an illustrated exploration of the 64 Gates created to help you experience Human Design in a more intuitive, visual, and embodied way. Rather than memorizing keywords or trying to decode your chart, we'll begin with the four placements that create the foundation of your unique landscape: your Personality Sun, Personality Earth, Design Sun, and Design Earth. Together we'll explore the role these four Gates play in your life and discover the seeds (your gifts), the weeds (the challenges that help you grow), and contemplative questions that invite you into deeper self-understanding. Each card is more than information. It's an artistic transmission inspired by the lived experience of people who carry these energies, translating Human Design into imagery and embodied language that speaks to both the mind and the heart. You'll also receive a blank Human Design bodygraph to transform into your own piece of art. Using the cards as inspiration or allowing your own intuition to guide you to create an embodied map of your design through color, symbols, flowers, words, or whatever wants to emerge. No artistic experience is necessary. This isn't about making beautiful art. It's about creating a deeper relationship with yourself. Whether you're just starting out with Human Design or have been studying it for years, you'll leave with a fresh way of exploring your chart, a personalized piece of artwork, and a deeper appreciation for the landscape that has been living within you all along. Come ready to play. Come ready to create. Come ready to recognize yourself in a whole new way.

Midlife in Motion: Exploring the Uranus Opposition Through Human Design

Self·Network

2/4 Projector

Bio

I'm Rebekah Anderson, a 2/4 Splenic Projector who has been actively living my Human Design experiment for almost five years. What started as curiosity became a steady, embodied practice that reshaped how I make decisions, move through relationships, and navigate major life transitions. I'm a certified Living Your Design Guide and spent three years in an ongoing Human Design study group, along with two years studying through HDX with Emma Dunwoody. I'm especially drawn to the fundamentals: Type, Strategy, Authority, Profile, Centers and Circuitry, and how they show up in real, lived experience rather than just theory. Through my practice, Living It Up Human Design, I offer Human Design Clarity Sessions and one-on-one coaching, primarily supporting women in midlife transitions, including career, relationships, and family dynamics. I'm currently in my Uranus Opposition, and that phase has deepened my curiosity about how life cycles interact with our design in real time. I love gatherings and community spaces. Much of my own integration has happened in spaces where people are honestly exploring their charts together. That's the kind of space I enjoy facilitating: interactive, reflective, and collaborative.

About this offering

90-minute interactive session. We'll move between short framing moments, small-group conversation, and whole-group reflection. I'll offer some chart examples (projected or printed), and participants will need access to: - Their birth chart - Their Uranus Opposition chart - Composite chart Charts can be accessed on phones or printed ahead of time. If possible, it would be helpful for participants to receive instructions in advance on how to generate their Uranus Opposition chart so they arrive prepared. I can possibly bring a small printer if needed. A whiteboard or flip chart would be helpful for harvesting themes. This session explores the Uranus Opposition within Human Design as a lived phase of life, exploring this midlife transition. We'll briefly orient to what shifts in the Uranus Opposition chart and composite chart. Then the focus will move toward observation and shared reflection. Participants will: - Compare elements of their birth and Uranus Opposition charts - Review the South to North Nodes shift - Notice the layers of Profile, Incarnation Cross, or Center dynamics - Reflect on where they feel recalibration, restlessness, or release - Share observations in small groups and as a whole The session is responsive to what emerges in the room. Rather than deep technical analysis, the emphasis is on noticing patterns, naming lived experience, and exploring this life phase in community.

I demonstrate how it works and then we break up into partners who take turns to practice the process on each other, then switch roles. In the second part I share information and demonstrate the use of the Emotion Code for releasing trapped emotions from the body/mind (subconscious mind). I teach how to muscle test to get yes or no answers and again shift to alternating partner sessions. Alternately, I release trapped emotions for the participants. Depending on time, I can also demonstrate the Body Code to address deeper issues or physical ailments. Meghan O'Malley

Navigating The Convergence Window: Where Your Design & Nervous System Meet Life's Intelligence

Self·Integration

6/2 Projector

Bio

Meghan O'Malley is a Speaker, Author, Facilitator, Coach, and Consultant whose work lives at the intersection of ancient wisdom and emerging science — and whose own unlearning has been the greatest teacher of all.

With a Master's in Community Counseling and over a decade of clinical experience as a therapist, Meghan spent years helping people navigate mental health, trauma, and relational complexity before deliberately leaving the conventional therapeutic paradigm to do work that is truly whole-person. She brings that clinical depth into a far more expansive container — one that weaves together somatic intelligence, applied neuroscience, neurofeedback, Human Design, spirituality, energy work, intuition, and quantum theory as a holistic leadership modality.

As a 2026 TEDx Speaker — whose talk Unshakeable: The Power of Connection When Everything Is Crumbling was born from the conversations she kept hearing about people searching for solid ground in a world that won't stop shifting — Meghan works with individuals and teams navigating the individual and collective changes, challenges, and in-betweens of life, helping them become something truly new on the other side.

She is the co-author of Unstuck Yourself: Thrive Beyond Burnout & Discover Your True Purpose, a book that blends an embodied introduction to the Human Design types with somatics, science, and heart-centered activism — giving readers both a map and a process for re-storying their lives and living into their true purpose and design.

She is also the host of The Imaginal Change Podcast.

Meghan believes Human Design is not a system to be intellectually understood — it's a map toward deeper truth and alignment that is meant to be lived.

About this offering

This session introduces The Convergence Window, a three-phase framework that I developed for understanding the necessary phases of alchemy, disruption and recalibration that arise on the path of actually embodying our design, truth and purpose in the world. This is not the typical Human Design "informational" talk, but is meant to be a support in the ongoing embodiment of it, for those already in some relationship with their design and ongoing experiment. As we begin to live more into our design (and what I call our own "Imaginal Intelligence"), the greater quantum intelligence of life responds. Old structures, stories, relationships, unconscious nervous system patterns, and identities that no longer fit begin to be challenged and exposed. It's messy and people often interpret it as failure - it is not failure, but an essential recalibration. This session offers a map for understanding that experience — one that works on the conscious, nervous system, and energetic levels — reframing what can feel like breakdown as intelligent realignment. Through a blend of teaching, reflection and embodied practice, participants will develop greater capacity to recognize which phase of the convergence window framework they are in, resource and regulate themselves through periods of disruption rather than bypassing or collapsing, and find deeper meaning and purpose in the unfolding. Participants have the opportunity to leave with a shift in perspective that transforms how they relate to the messier, less linear aspects of living into their design — and a felt sense of trust in the larger, loving intelligence guiding the process.

Breathe the Bodygraph

Self·Spirit·Integration

5/1 Projector

Bio

Alison Dale is an ecosomatic astrologer, Human Design guide, and breathwork practitioner based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she runs Hearth & Spiral. Her work sits at the intersection of astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, and somatic practice, with a focus on helping people move from understanding their own design intellectually to actually living from it.

Alison developed an internal framework she calls the compass: heart as center, with voice, eros, creativity, and receptivity as the four directions. Where charts and bodygraphs function as maps, showing where someone is, the compass is what lets a person navigate by feel, from the body, in real time.

She works with clients through readings, 1:1 coaching, and embodiment practices including conscious connected breathwork, drawing on years of personal practice and study across astrology, Human Design, the Celtic wheel of the year, and mythology . Alison is also a consultant on ELA Map, a locational astrology and human design app, and is currently developing a book exploring the descent and return cycle as a framework for navigating major life transitions.

She lives in Santa Fe with her partner, daughter, 2 pups and 2 cats, and spends as much time as possible in the garden.

About this offering

Breathe the Bodygraph is a guided conscious connected breathwork session that uses continuous breath to release stored tension and integrate the bodygraph somatically. Lying down, supported by a custom-built soundscape and verbal guidance, participants breathe in a connected pattern (no pause between inhale and exhale) for 45 minutes. As the breath builds, and the mind gives way to the body's wisdom, attention moves through the centers, giving each one space to be felt in the body rather than understood conceptually. This is a physical practice that uses breath to shift the nervous system and create room for whatever wants to move.

Relationship·Embodiment

5/1 Reflector

Bio

Esther Powers is known as Esther The Reflector, bringing an experiential exploration of Self and Not-Self to HDHD through guided presentation, discussion, and group exercises.

About this offering

This session is an experiential exploration of the relationship between Self and Other as a practical way of engaging the Human Design experiment. Through guided presentation, discussion, individual reflection, and group exercises, participants will explore how the distinction between Self and Other relates to the Human Design concepts of Self and Not-Self. Participants will investigate how thoughts, emotions, beliefs, identities, conditioning, relationships, and life experiences can shift from being unconsciously identified with (Self) to becoming consciously observable (Other). The session provides practical opportunities to recognize these shifts and to explore how increased awareness supports one's ongoing Human Design experiment. The workshop is designed as an inquiry rather than a presentation of conclusions. Participants leave with a practical framework for continued observation and exploration of Self, Other, Self, and Not-Self in everyday life.
